Faber Maunsell’s SEA experience is underpinned by our technical expertise and experience in carrying out more detailed project level assessments such as EIA and Appropriate Assessment. We have ones of the UK’s most experienced SEA teams and can assist public and private sector organisations in achieving improved plan-making and environmental protection by meeting their legal obligations under SEA legislation.
In addition to SEA, Faber Maunsell also has extensive experience and capability in carrying out Sustainability Appraisals (SAs) of Local Development Documents (LDDs) prepared by a number of local authorities. These include Core Strategies, Development Plan Documents, SPDs and Area Action Plans.
