The new City Campus accommodates the University’s Law, Business and Design Schools.

The Schools of Law and Business share the larger (16,000m²) of the two buildings with the Design school occupying the eastern building of 8,000m².

Designed as an environmental flagship, the highly visible landmark building will create a new heart to the University.

Solar shading on southern façade formed by solar collectors to contribute to space and water heating.
Full building performance model created to demonstrate Part L2 compliance.
Cooling introduced using chilled beams.
Specialist fume and dust extract.
Data and power distributed via raised floors.
Major infrastructure provision including diverse routing of communications links.
Exterior and interior specialist lighting to enhance architectural form.
