In the residential sector, we work closely with developers and contractors, offering a multi-disciplinary portfolio of skills, including best-in-class structural and building services engineering and wide range of specialist services such as fire engineering, security, lighting and acoustics.

Our solutions aim to enhance the architecture by combining elegance and economy to deliver high quality living environments.

We see the design and construction process as a collaborative effort that requires strategic input from relevant parties at key milestones in the programme. Our experience and unique overview of each project mean we’re ideally placed to operate as the hub of the design team, realising the design brief and delivering precisely to the client’s needs. Our role is key to ensuring that the project moves forward in a co-ordinated way, eliminating the need to rework solutions.

We work for developers, contractors, architects, regional development agencies, registered social landlords and housing associations to realise building projects which are cost-effective, sustainable and fit for purpose.

We are a full-service consultancy, delivering expertise across all engineering disciplines to provide innovative, sustainable solutions to clients in the residential sector.

Our structural engineers use integrated 3D modelling and analysis techniques to develop highly efficient, optimised designs.

For M&E, we employ the latest CFD modelling to deliver designs that incorporate the best principles of energy efficiency and sustainability.

We are acknowledged as one of the leading UK exponents of sustainable building design. Our Sustainable Development Group provides consultancy to the government on energy efficiency, helping to set the standards for the future.
The planning system is evolving rapidly in response to new environmental regulations. In the residential sector, we work with major house builders to find the most cost-effective way of achieving government energy targets. As well as being BREEAM and EcoHomes assessors, we are fully conversant with the Code for Sustainable Homes and are qualified to undertake Standard Assessment Procedures and National Home Energy Rating assessments.

We are currently working with a number of our clients to develop buildings that meet the target of zero carbon emissions.
