The issues surrounding rural and community public transport are becoming increasingly important as stakeholders seek to strike a balance between provision of a dependable and often vital social service, and maintaining a sound business operation.

Working closely with industry, but importantly also with wider organisations such as user groups and community rail partnerships, we seek to develop an understanding of these issues, and how to grow the role of rail in this environment sustainably.
