Project outline
Argent Energy’s plant, the nation’s first large-scaled bio-diesel production plant, will use animal fat and recovered vegetable oil for the production of renewable energy and biodegradable fuel. It will be capable of producing 50 million litres of bio-diesel annually and provide nearly 5% of Scotland’s diesel needs

- Use of 3D modelling to fully co-ordinate the primary and secondary steel structures, vessels, tank farm, pipe-work and services installations
- Facility will be capable of processing most oils and fats, whether they are saturated or unsaturated, and will be the largest of its type in the world
