Renewable Energy

With recognised international expertise in all of the major renewable energy technologies Faber Maunsell are leaders in the UK’s renewable energy sector. As part of AECOM, Faber Maunsell is represented globally and has developed significant world wide energy projects. Our renewable energy team applies an integrated approach, managing environmental, engineering, technical, operational and commercial skills to a comprehensive range of activities from development strategy and implementation to all areas of energy facility development, management, operation, consenting and permitting.

Efficient use of renewable energy sources is an essential element of sustainability and requires a broad range of skills to achieve the economic and environmentally sensitive solutions required. Faber Maunsell provides this with expertise and project experience in all forms of renewable energy. We have pioneered several of these technologies within the UK including the use of ground source heat pumps, hydro electric generation, energy from waste and many forms of micro-generation.

Faber Maunsell provides the experienced practical advice which is a priority in managing the legislative and statutory pressures currently being applied to development of renewable energy projects. We are advisers to Government and NGOs regarding renewable energy and in the wider context of sustainability.
