Archaeology

Archaeology

Assessment of archaeology, cultural heritage and the historic environment is a requirement of all environmental assessments for new development and is increasingly important in environmental management. With the growing awareness of archaeology and cultural heritage in the public domain it is particularly important for developers, agencies and planners to be aware of archaeological and heritage implications throughout all stages of a project. If archaeological and heritage issues are considered at the earliest stages, risk of discovery of archaeological sites during construction can be minimised.

Faber Maunsell’s archaeological team possess the assessment skills required by developers for projects of all sizes. We can give objective advice and guidance on all archaeological matters, in both urban and rural settings.
