Transport for London (TfL) – programme and project managers on a range of buildings and transport projects including Phase 2 of the award winning Vauxhall Cross Interchange project, a command control centre, project support office and road by-pass works.

Key features

• Phase 2 of the Vauxhall Cross Interchange project - the project objectives were to improve the local transport infrastructure and local environment at Vauxhall and to stimulate local business interest in the area.  Landmark structure incorporating new bus station, office facilities, retail units, public toilets, fully pedestrianised central area and specialist security systems.  Our works included ensuring cooperation of all stakeholders including Police Authority, private transport providers (bus and rail), utility companies, local business group and local government.  As project managers we managed external architects, structural engineers, mep engineers and cost consultants and contractors, using NEC form of contract, for construction activities
• Road Network Management – specialist support to TfL Programme Office with PRINCE 2 and Microsoft project scheduling for over 12 months
• Command Control Centre – programme management of combined cross-services control centre for traffic management and emergency response across London. Subsequent design and project management of high resilience facilities
• Coulsdon High Road – client representative and project and programme management and community liaison for new by-pass road.
