New campus site comprising six buildings giving a total of 460,000 sq ft of high quality space. The new campus is mainly office accommodation for the administrative, technical services and facilities personnel, approximately 3500 people.

Project detail
Advanced structured cabling scheme (SCS) offering increased levels of density and resilience using the optimum cabling products - saving T-Mobile c£0.5m on budget costs. The SCS is designed to be highly flexible to provide for connections for all computers, terminals, PCs, printers, file servers and LANs; such that a hardware change does not entail a rewiring exercise. The scheme also has advanced cable management (iTracks) to record and manage all connections.
Data centre strategy and design of main server room including; security, sizing clarification, detailed cabinet layout, power and cooling needs, containment and outlet design giving 6,400 sq ft of flexible and usable space. Also designed the back-up server accommodation for the SAN system.
Hub room designed as part of the space planning exercise utilising "core" space and coordinated with the cabling, network and cell infrastructure design.
Advanced security redesign and overall system integration including an assurance and monitoring role, a purpose built 'State of the Art' Control room utilising Flat Screen Technology, Building Campus Integrated Security System, consisting of CCTV, Digital Recording, Access Control, Intruder Detection and PA System.
Site IT infrastructure consisting of fibre "ring of confidence" installed for maximum flexibility, resilience and choice of provider.
Project management, including detailed project plans and budget control, detailed coordination and liaison with all of the various IT and security systems including; Telephony, LAN and wireless LAN, WAN, NT & Unix Servers, Desk-top, PTO services, Cell coverage, Ancillary special projects including laboratory environments, Internet testing arrangements and cell performance facilities.
