Performance Management
Building on our wider experience in Asset Management, our Performance Management team bring together the most modern techniques, coupled with engineering knowledge and experience to assist clients in rationalising and improving their current Performance Management Frameworks in order to drive continuous improvement.

Performance Management is a key area of focus for many of our clients. In order to be able to achieve improvement it is essential to be able to measure attainment. This is a critical element of asset management, where performance of the asset must be geared to service outcomes.
Our staff bring the classic performance tools of Quality Management and Risk Assessment together with a broad range of engineering knowledge across a number of sectors (including water; sewerage; electricity generation; transportation; housing and planning) to support organisations in their drive to improve performance.
Faber Maunsell is uniquely placed with staff that not only have a high level of training but are also experienced facilitators, skilled in the art of helping clients identify opportunities for performance improvement. Our experience in the planning of maintenance, operational and strategic activities, enables us to assist clients to investigate a range of spending options and identify those which provide the greatest value (for money and time invested) in the long-term.
Working closely with key players within the organisation, our staff are able to assist clients on their whole performance improvement journey; from carrying out consultation and research to identify stakeholder requirements; through identifying and comparing different designs and planning options; delivering the chosen solution; and, of course, monitoring progress over time.
Faber Maunsell have developed a five-stage methodology, known as the "Performance Improvement Cycle" which provides the structure and robustness that is essential to sustainable improvement. We are particularly keen to ensure that our clients avoid "initiative overload" and tailor all our solutions to fit around existing projects. Therefore, we take every care at the inception phase, and throughout our work with the client, to ensure that the approach used truly meets their needs and provides clear benefits to the organisation.
