Ecology

Faber Maunsell has an expert team of ecologists who contribute to a wide range of environmental investigations, projects and developments for clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

From investigations of individual sites and areas through to policy and long term planning, our ecologists are able to provide a wide range of species and habitat specific investigations and to survey and report using ecological best practice.

We have long experience of undertaking protected species surveys and implementing effective protection measures for any proposed developments. We are also expert in advising on the regulatory requirements of protected sites under both UK and European legislation.

Whether undertaking detailed surveys as part of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), advising on boundary and designation issues or installing 'Green Roofs', our team is able to ensure that all ecological constraints and opportunities are effectively managed.

Our range of ecological skills is one of the most comprehensive available within any UK Environmental consultancy firm. All of our ecological investigations are undertaken in compliance with the institute of Ecology and Environmental Management code of professional conduct.
