Health & safety issues can have a serious impact on project outcomes. Our consultants are fully qualified to advise on all aspects, from initial analysis to incident investigation.

As one of the largest health and safety consultancies in the UK, we offer a complete portfolio of services. Our consultants not only possess deep expertise and knowledge of health and safety issues and applications, but also significant experience of building design, construction and training.

We were one of the first consultancies to achieve 9001 accreditation specifically for Planning Supervision Services and, as a company, we have recently been awarded initial BS OHSAS 18001:2007 registration.

Health and Safety Services

We are fully qualified as CDM (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007) consultants. With significant experience in this field, we can provide expert consultancy on projects of varying complexity and value. Several of our consultants have been involved in the preparation of industry-recognised CDM documentation, including the Guide to the Management of CDM Co-ordination and Design Risk Management.

Management systems

We are experienced in developing corporate health and safety policy and procedure documentation for clients, detailing all the occupational health and safety measures that clients are required to implement in order to fulfil their legal obligations.

Training

In addition to the international accredited training courses that we can deliver (IOSH – Working/Managing Safely, Safety for Senior Executives and CITB courses), we can provide bespoke training programmes, from initial analysis through to delivery and review.

Competence evaluation procedures

We have a particular expertise in evaluating client appointed contractors and designers. We have provided this service under framework agreements with a number of key national clients in the UK.

Accident / incident policy and procedures.

We can prepare bespoke accident and incident procedure plans, as well as a full-scale investigation service throughout the UK.

Site inspection procedures

We have a well-proven site inspection process that has been trialled, updated and implemented over a number of years, using our own electronic PDA-based site inspection software.

We regularly upgrade this system to stay abreast of ongoing legislative changes. The system further provides us with a consistent approach across the UK that can be tailored to individual client and project requirements.

In addition to site inspections, we can also undertake workplace inspections to assist in hazard identification and risk reduction to ensure legal compliance with the Workplace Regulations.
